Jay Cimbak, CPF
Jay Cimbak brings to Rockwell Art and Framing over 33 years of personalized framing expertise. Having worked at Max’s Art Supplies for over 28 years, where he started its framing department in 1994, Jay’s growth with the town of Westport links him to the local artist community. He recently received the designation of Certified Picture Framer from the Professional Picture Framers Association and two of his frame designs have been published in their members magazine. Jay has an illustration degree from Sacred Heart University and utilizes that education working side by side with his clients to achieve their vision. Jay prides himself on relationship building and it would be fair to say that every one of his clients becomes a friend. When not utilizing his craft of picture framing, he enjoys spending time with his family and as an avid outdoorsman (and year-round fisherman), Jay enjoys wilderness survival methods, bush crafting, and perfecting primitive fire building techniques. He often says he feels just as comfortable in the woods as he does in his living room.
